Se termina multe in seara asta : vacanta muuuult prea lunga , iarna ( afara sunt semne primavaratice) si etapa a 19 din liga 1.
However , today ..and further more , the whole weekend it was a british weekend for me . First of all , the soccer in Barclays Premier League : i`ve seen Chelsea against the ritch footbal players from Manchester city . And what a delight that match was . It ended 4-2 for Man .City ...so : in you`r face Carlo Ancelotti and Roman Abramovich . However , Chelsea played better , but they run out of luck . 2 goals Lampard , 2 goals Tevez and 2 goals Bellamy . Further more , a can-can news story says that John Terry - the captain of Chelsea shagged Wayne Bridges`s wife . Wayne is a footbal player at Man. City ..so it was interesting to watch , knowing what everyone knewed .
Later the same day ( yesterday) i`ve also watched Stoke City against the team from the third place : Arsenal . All was well , for me ( a liverpool fan) Stoke leaded 1-0 . But somehow they`v screwed up the hole game . With a penalty stroke Arsenal made the score 1-1 . Then followed a scene i don`t get to see very often in a soccer game . Ryan Shawcross made a killer fault at arsenal`s Aaron Ramsey . Don`t just take my word for it ..watch this :
What followed scarred preety much everyone who assisted the game , including the people who tuned in form back home . Ryan started to cry shortly realizing what he did . Of course he received the red card ..and he cryed the hole time ..while he headed to the lockers .
Everyone else was with their hands on the head ..councerning for ramsey . he was transported imediatly to the hospital and operated .
The match ended 3-1 for Arsenal ..but somehow that seemed not so relevant .
Also , being saturday ..my favourite day for reading , i read 100 pages from Jerome k.Jerome - three men in a boat . Let me tell you something : This autor has the same funny intelectual literature as Mark Twain . Just as a small proof for that i`m going to tell you a line from the book :
" When someone is working around me , i feel the need to get up , to disturb my actions at that time , to lift myself up and watch , follow him with my hands in my pockets and tell him what to do . That`s just me , i`m too energic , i have to get involved .
Funny right ?
Also , these three men (and a dog) get cold in july , they get sun burned in a foggy november day , and theyr allergic to grass on christmas . Anyway , it`s a delightfull book .
Yesterday as well as today , i`ve listened to Sir Elton John ..and his most succesfull 3 best-of cd`s . Tracks as : I was made in England , Nikita < Candle in the wind , I`m still standing ..made me remeber the 90`s , when i used to listen to him daily .
Today ( sunday) , I`ve watched the brand new hbo show , with funny british comedian Ricky Gervais : The Ricky Gervais show , but unfortunately i didn`t get a kich of it ..actually i found it very booring . At the time when in England the british people have a cup of tea ... offcourse I`m talking about 5 o`clock , my favourite british team : Liverpool , played on Anfield road against Blackburn . First of all , I have to say I was glad to see Fernando Torres in the field from the first minute . My team wone with 2-1 , although they didn`t shined . Actually , a 2-2 would have been more equitable ...but ou well...all`s well when ends well .
This weekend i`ve also seen Capitalism a love story and Real time with Bill Maher , and Jimmy Kimmel show . So I guess it wasn`t such a funny weekend ..more-like a fun towards serious 2 days . Especially Capitalism a love story. I`ve tried to put together the economically puzzle pieces in America that lead to Lemon Brothers , Citibank , AIG and the rest of the banks that produced the global financial crisis .I recomend this documentary...i will see it again , just so that i can understand it better .
